The rich fertile soil provides perfect conditions for a wide variety of fruit and vegetables while the grazing land provides fresh meat. Hillies – Located opposite Aataren Villas, Hillies bakes fresh scones and cakes for morning/afternoon tea and lunch and dinner has fresh seafood, salads and home baked desserts. Try the fresh fish of the day, salad and home made potato skin fries for a wonderful, 100% local produce meal. This is not your ordinary fish and chips.
Dinos – An extension of a private, eclectic decorated home with large lush gardens, Dino’s has earned itself a name on the culinary scene. It may be a mission to find Dino’s in the dark but its worth every mouth watering bite in this cozy location once you arrive. With only the freshest produce used, and often from their own garden, you will not be disappointed here.
The Fish and Chook Shop – Looking for something quick and easy to take out? Don’t let the name fool you. The Fish and Chook Shop certainly offers value for money take away roast chicken with accompaniments such as fresh salads and chips, but you will also find the best value fish and chips on the island. Made with local fish only and fresh ingredients, you will be here more then once during your stay. All stays come with a free $25 meal voucher!
